Dr. Brad Scott is a globally experienced educator, researcher, and operations leader serving as the Department Chair of Business programs at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College (A-B Tech) in Asheville, North Carolina. At A-B Tech, he oversees business program faculty, curriculum management, and budget responsibilities of business, economics, marketing, and accounting and finance courses. At A-B Tech, Dr. Scott serves on the General Education, and the Economic Development & Entrepreneurship committees. Additionally serving on the Advisory Board for A-B Tech's Small Business Center.
Prior to transitioning into higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Scott held leadership roles in international and domestic corporations, including Yum! Brands, M.H. Alshaya Company, and Carrols Corporation. His corporate experience spans financial management, operations management, and international business, while also having lived and worked in the United States, Kuwait, and Italy.
Dr. Scott owns Studio Circeo, LLC a registered business within the state of North Carolina. He serves as an elected school board member for Newton-Conover City Schools' Board of Education (Catawba County, NC) and on the Ciao Hickory non-profit board that supports Italian culture and heritage.
